MyVCM 3.1 continues the rollout of the new and improved user experience, the April release builds on March’s v3.0 release, adding enhanced asset management with the updated Assets Module.

MyVCM 3.1 continues the rollout of the new and improved MyVCM 3.0 user experience that enables modern and responsive designs, enabling the user to navigate the platform with ease. The April release builds on March’s v3.0 release, adding enhanced asset management with the updated Assets Module.

3.1 High-Level Summary

  • UPGRADED Assets Module: A better way to manage your assets with the improved Assets module. MyVCM 3.1 targets the importance of Asset Management, including:
      • improved experience for adding and modifying assets
      • improved ease of association between assets and their risks
      • ability to “store” assets not currently assigned to a user

  • NEW Asset Import Wizard: The new Asset Import Wizard simplifies the task of importing assets from existing spreadsheets and systems across a variety of input formats. View successfully imported assets and fix missing asset information within a single interface.

  • NEW Universal Side Tray: The Universal Side Tray provides a common experience across all modules to search, filter and also save your most used views as ‘Favorites’ for easy reference.

Additional features 

  • Training Module: Users can access training module documents after the training is complete.
  • Internal Assessments: Users with multiple roles can select the role they’re performing e.g. Requestor, Responder, or Reviewer.
  • Roles: Roles can now differentiate between Create and Edit.  This enables users to create new documents without automatically having access to view/edit all others. They can only View/Edit artifacts where they are listed in the artifacts access control. 
  • Reporting: Enhanced “Detailed Export” Functionality offers the ability to export a full page or all records of a Detailed Export to XLSX or CSV format.
    • Option added to sort and export on Dashboard reports.
    • Charts now allow detailed drill-down in a sidebar.
    • Users can see their Pending Actions in a list without having to break it up by month.
    • Allow retrieval of previous versions of documents
    • Improved Approval usability and visibility on the Documents Approval page.
  • Custom Reporting:
    • Report of trainings due by the user
    • Pull a report of pending acknowledgments and approvals by the user
  • Bug Fixes:
    • In the system default My Activity screen, users now see all pending tasks.
    • Pending actions not appearing in user screen.
    • Document approval not working.
    • Duplicate line items in Document Approval Summary Report.
    • v3.0 Custom Reports not updating with most recent document info.
    • Lack of clarity that version has loaded when clicking in Document version history.
