How to Send a Reminder Message to Consumers for Training or Document Acknowledgement

Learn how you can send a message to remind consumers of a training or document acknowledge due outside of regular system reminders.

  1. 1. Go directly to the document or training and find the ‘Summary’ tab. Then click 'Send message'.

  2. 2. A menu will open from the right-side panel where you can select the users you want to notify. You can specify the roles and compliance level of the recipients with the following options:
    1. To Role
      1. Owner
      2. All custodians
      3. All administrators
    2. To Consumer
      1. All consumers
      2. Only compliant consumers
      3. Only non-compliant consumers
      4. None
    3. To Approver
      1. Pending
      2. Approved
      3. Rejected
    4. cc Self

You can also select specific employees from the dropdown that you want to send a message to.  Once you have selected the users you want to notify, typed a Subject, and typed a Message, you may click ‘Send Message'. 

3. A notification will be sent to all users selected.
