Step-By-Step Walkthrough
The first organization in the list reflects your organization and is automatically created. In this example, this is ComplianceIQ’s instance of the Ostendio Platform.-png.png?width=688&height=346&name=image%20(3)-png.png)
In this example, we want to create two internal business units / divisions, ComplianceIQ (EU) and ComplianceIQ (JPN), that will display in a hierarchy below the headquarters organization, Compliance IQ.
Click “Add new organization” (or import them via .CSV)-png.png?width=281&height=156&name=image%20(4)-png.png)
Enter organization details for the first internal business unit, ComplianceIQ (EU)

The organization will display in a hierarchy depending on the Organization Type.
Select Internal or External.

In the Links section, select which existing organization you want as the Parent (normally this is your organization - in this case, ComplianceIQ).
This will assign the newly created internal business unit (ComplianceIQ (EU)) as a Child to the now designated Parent organization (ComplianceIQ).

Click “Organizational Hierarchy” from the icon in the universal side tray to display the relationship between Parent and Children organizations.

Toggle between internal, external or show both organization types at the same time.
Clicking on the organization name will open that organization in a new browser tab.

In the manage columns, check the box for the Parent property so you can see the designated Parent organization for each Child organization.
