Ostendio Platform Set-up
Is it possible to have the document reside in an external system and still capture acknowledgment?
External document acknowledgement
Yes, the platform supports the acknowledgment of a document residing in an external system (outside of Ostendio). However, it is worth noting that a document hosted on a platform other than Ostendio does not have the ability to confirm that the appropriate/relevant version of a document was acknowledged without effort. The organization would find it excessively labor-intensive to provide evidence that “X number of users all acknowledged the appropriate version of a document” residing outside of the Ostendio platform.
