Multi-Framework Assessments and Live Compliance

Review how to create an assessment with multiple frameworks and top assessment features for managing assessment questions.

Creating an assessment

The assessment creation workflow consists of seven steps:

  1. Ownership
  2. Template
  3. Answer type
  4. Review type
  5. Questions
  6. Assign
  7. Publish

  1. Ownership
    1. What is the assessments title, and who has access to it?
  2. Template
    1. What is the source of this assessment? Starting from scratch, from a framework(s) (templates), or directly from an import.
    2. You can choose to have evidence be added automatically at this step. As artifacts like documents, trainings, assets are tagged with a framework control, the system will recognize them when using this feature, and associate them to the new assessment.
  3. Answer type
    1. Every assessment needs an answer type to complete it by answering against all questions. The answer type usually matches the framework chosen in the Template step. Select from the system answer types or create a custom one.

  4. Review type
    1. The internal or external auditor (person reviewing the assessment's submission) has several response options when reviewing the assessment.
  5. Questions
    1. Review the assessment's sections and individual questions.
  6. Assign
    1. Determine if this assessment is for internal or external use.

    2. Internal
    3. External
  7. Publish
    1. Make the assessment active and accessible to all within the access control list, set at the Ownership step.
