MyVCM 2.13: Relaunched Documents Module

Tag Management

We have improved the usability of tags. You no longer need to go into the document itself to perform an action. Within the new full feature set you can now:

• Filter by tag
• Delete a tag from multiple documents at once
• Bulk add tags to documents
• From the gear icon, you can manage your tags

Document Notes

You now have the ability to add notes about your document.

Cover Page

The downloadable cover page contains all of the meta-data about the document. The cover page can be offered to an auditor when you don’t want to give them an account on your MyVCM instance, or it can be used when you may not have access to a computer or the internet.

New Document Version Number

When uploading a document for the first time, you can now choose the version number you wish to start from, rather than beginning at 1.0.1

UI Updates

‘Quick Clicks’ on the navigation menu allows you to search through your documents faster. Filters include ‘Expired’, ‘Compliant’, ‘Non-Compliant’, and ‘Published’. Other updates include a toggle button that allows you to display active or inactive documents. By default, inactive documents won’t be shown.

Drag & Drop to Upload

Documents can also be dragged and dropped when uploaded, without a limit on the number of attachments included.
