Ostendio Platform Release Notes v3.6

The Ostendio Platform 3.6 enhances the user experience with a new module to control tickets across the platform.

UPDATED Add New Button

  • The new “+” Add New icon located in the right-side tray, enables more artifact types created in less clicks, anywhere in the platform. Similar view appears when clicking the "Add New" button on the top bar. 

ENHANCEMENTS to the Tickets Module: 

  • Updated UI and addition of the Imports page.
  • Updated ticket artifact tabs
    • Notes: Share communication directly within the ticket.
    • Files: The ability to upload files, URLs, or link to existing artifacts within the platform.
    • Approvers: Add approvers, ability to start and pause the approval process.
    • Associated tickets: Link artifacts icon in the right-side tray.
    • Resolutions: Review existing resolution records and add new resolutions. 

NEW Organization Module Hierarchy Connections & Visualization: 
  • New Organization Hierarchy, allowing users to create parent-child/organization-sub organization relationship, visualized via the Hierarchy icon from the right-side tray on the right of the screen.
  • Through either first time organization setup or updating, users can determine whether an organization is external or internal.

New Features

  • CAPA Ticket design changes that better visualize the workflow.
  • The Tickets module now enables reopening and editing closed tickets.
  • The new right-side tray Link artifacts icon will allow the user to link tickets and will display in the Associated tickets tab.
    • User can also link risks and audits.
  • Added the ability to create ticket templates, which include sub-ticket templates.
  • Added the ability to create a ticket from any artifact, using the new "+" Add New icon in the right-side tray, and link to existing tickets from any artifact, using the Link artifacts icon.
    • Ticket creation functionality within a module using the "+" Add New button in the right-side tray, will pre-populate information from an artifact and associate the information within the primary affected field of the ticket.
  • Added the ability to create custom Asset List groups to implement on a single asset.
  • Saving users time with a new ticket type to automatically provide access to an artifact, called Access Request. Access is confirmed by taking approval action and access permissions include Access list, Consumer and Custodian. 

Additional Features



  • Updated the empty response views to only display if no action is needed or filters are set.
  • Compliance Manager filters are updated to include Organizations and Projects. 
  • Added a pop-up during the approval request with a link to the ticket. 
  • Added the description field to the approval workflow so it can be seen when approving the ticket.
