The Ostendio Platform 3.7.3 enhances the user experience with updated Jira and Zendesk integrations, that now support 2-way synchronization!

What's new?

  • Jira Integration, now (2-way)
  • Zendesk Integration, now (2-way)

Sync tickets updates in the Ostendio platform to keep issues up-to-date, saving manual work duplicating data. With standard 1-way integrations, data doesn't automatically flow back into Jira, so there is no synchronization and manual updates need to be made in Jira to keep it current. This release begins the process toward more purposeful and actionable transactional integrations.

  • Creating a ticket in Ostendio will also create a ticket in Jira

Jira 2-way Nav

  • Navigate to the Manage Connections page and search for the Jira Integration.

  • Choose the "Ostendio to Jira" tab and sync Ostendio with your Project in Jira.

  • Click on the Help button if you need assistance getting your Jira URL or token. 
  • Now when tickets are created, select Jira in in the "Sync with" field, to create the ticket in Ostendio and Jira!

Why 2-Way Integration?

A 2-way integration is advantageous as it enables automatic synchronization of data between the GRC platform and other systems, such as Jira and Zendesk.   • Changes made in GRC are automatically reflected in Jira, Zendesk, and other integrated systems.
  • Changes made in Jira, Zendesk, and other integrated systems are automatically updated in GRC.
