What's New in MyVCM
Customers will now be able to upload any .doc, .docx, .xls, .xlsx file to MyVCM, and no longer have to work outside of MyVCM for spreadsheet and word processing needs. MyVCM now includes “Microsoft Word and Excel-like” functionality.
- .doc/.docx editing - MyVCM Documents now allows a user to do things like insert images, tables, and formatting options like changing fonts/styles, adding headers/footers and modifying page margins
- .xls/.xlsx editing - MyVCM Documents also includes functionality for editing spreadsheets within MyVCM with the ability to introduce formulas, pivot tables and visual displays like inserting pie, bar, and line graphs
- In-application preview - Users will no longer have to review documents in a 3rd-party application. MyVCM now supports in-application document preview/review.
- PDF Download - Published word processing or spreadsheet files no longer download in their original formats and will now only download in PDF as to control the number of users who have access to a locally editable version of the file. Unpublished status documents will continue to be downloadable in its original format.
