Release Notes: 2.43 New Audits module

Release Notes: 2.43 New Audits module Date released to Production: Friday, June 4th, 2021

High-Level Summary:

  • Improved user experience and updated Audit creation workflows

The new Audits module update improves the user experience for creating your recurring compliance tasks. Notable improvements include:

      • Simplifying Audit creation by putting all settings in a single page. This avoids an issue where non-required steps could be missed in Audit task creation.
      • Added pre-filled text for Audit task compliance text task assertion. This allows you to have a baseline for what you want your task owners to confirm which reporting task compliance during task submission.
      • Removed extraneous task settings. This will help to simply get to creating your task quicker.

  • Removed requirement to choose “fixed” or “running” cycle

MyVCM will now assume your recurring task intentions by how much you complete of the task frequency statement. You no longer need to understand what the terminology means in order to build how you want your audit task. The more prescriptive your task frequency statement (describing that a task needs to be done at a specific time/date) the system will assume you prefer a fixed task cycle.

  • Running cycle - Task submission dates are more relaxed, the next task will generate based on when the prior cycle's task was completed
  • Fixed cycle - When you set up your task more prescriptively, meaning setting the task is due on a very time-frequency, the system will generate audit tasks at that frequency only regardless of when the prior task was submitted.

  • Upcoming Task due dates display in task settings

The next due date for an audit task is clearly shown during the task creation process to make sure that audits are set up appropriately. The system will display your next task due date to you once you enter in your task “begins on date” so that you can better anticipate your upcoming due dates

  • Updates to ticket creation during audit task submission

Users are now able to create tickets directly in the MyVCM audit task submission that is directly tied to the audit cycle.
