High-Level Summary:
- New Feature: Allowing Owners/Custodians to see the previous versions of a Document and the version history, even if they were not given access control on the previous versions initially
Problem statement:
Although a new employee with a user role added as the owner/custodian to the latest version of the document, he/she can't see the version history and can’t access the previous versions at all. All he/she can access is the latest published version and all of the tabs under the latest version of the document, which are: Files/Information/Submissions/Summary/Approvers/Trainings/Risks/Notes/Version History/Activity Log
Solution that is put in place:
- When a new employee with a user role is added as the owner/custodian to the latest version of the document, he/she will see the version history at all times
- He/she can access to the previous versions only if the original document owner and/or Admin choose that option when adding him/her to the document’s latest version as the owner/custodian
- Nomenclature update: MyVCM Crosswalk tab and activity log title will be renamed as MyVCM Corporate Profile
