Idaptive provides single sign-on and identity management for cloud-based applications. Idaptive provides the SAML option. The steps required to configure SAML are listed below.
Configuration using SAML
Steps for configuration
- IS-1: Login to your Idaptive instance
- IS-2: Select “Web Apps” from Menu under “Apps”
- IS-3: Click on “Add Web Apps” which will bring a popup.
- IS-4: Select “Custom” from the Menu under “Add Web Apps” and add SAML App. When you click Add you will get a confirmation popup. Click “Yes” and you will notice a message app added. Close Add Web Apps popup as soon as you click on close you will receive SAML app details.
- IS-5: In the Settings Information window, enter application details
- Name
- Description
- Click Choose File next to the Upload Logo field to upload a PNG or GIF file to serve as an icon.
- Ostendio logos are available at https://www.ostendio.com
- IS-6: In the Trust Details window, enter the following information under Service Provider Configuration
- Check Manual Configuration radio button
- SP Entity ID =*Domain name for your Ostendio Instance
- E.g.: abcd.ostend.io, xyz.ostend.io/ main/resultssogateway.aspx etc.
- Assertion Consumer Service (ACS) URL
- ACS) URL= ID =*Domain name for your Ostendio Instance
- E.g.: abcd.ostend.io, xyz.ostend.io etc.
- Name ID
- Should be set to "Email Address" or leave unspecified.
- IS-7: Click on “Copy XML” Save the URL mentioned in “Location” (This will be used in later steps).
- This URL will be used to provide link on the xxxx.ostend.io login page for SSO link.
- IS-8: Click “Download” and download the certificate.
- Save the certificate (This will be used in later steps)
- IS-9: Add users to this application by click on permission.
- Do not make any other changes
- IS-10: Follow steps GO-1 to GO-4 as provided and then,
- Select “Idaptive” under “SSO Provider Options”
- Upload certificate file downloaded in step IS-8. This field is mandatory
- Provide “Idaptive Domain URL” save in step IS-7. This field is mandatory
- Click “Save”
